Vehicle that former Head of State of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari was riding in during the attack.

Former Head of State of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, was reportedly the target of a bomb blast along Ali Akilu Road, Kawo-Kaduna, Kaduna state, Nigeria on Wednesday, July 23, 2014.

General Muhammadu Buhari was on the way to his home town of Daura, Kastina state, Nigeria when the attack occurred.

General Muhammadu Buhari was unhurt following the attack. But three of his security staff sustained minor injuries. They have since been treated at the hospital and discharged.
