Hon Farouk Lawan eventually travelled via emirate airline to saudi arabia to perform lesser hajji. The delayed flight left lagos international airport about 4 am wednesday. The operatives of the State Security Service (SSS) allowed him following intervention from high placed presidency official. The intervention came following frantic call from hon. Lawan to top persons to help him plead with the operatives of the State Security Service (SSS). Source close to security said he was allowed following intervention and a commitment from him that he was just going to pray.
