Picture: Nigerian Vice President sweat profusely due to Power Outage at a Nigerian Conference

Nigerian Vice President, Namadi Sambo at a South-South Economic SummitThe Picture above is the one of Nigeria’s Vice President, Mr. Namadi Sambo seated and sweating profusely during a 30 minutes power outage at the South-South economic summit today in Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria. As you can see, the Vice President is left alone on the seat while Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan was seriously attempting to restore Power with a standby generator set but despite the efforts of the Governor, the generator refused to work until after several attempts. At this point, everyone including Very Important Personalitites were seen using pieces of paper to ‘cool’ themselves. It is my advise that for future events, appropriate arrangement should be put in place because for the most part, the proceedings at the Summit was characterized by lack of proper planning.
