The United States Embassy in Abuja, Nigeria said gunshots were fired near its Offices, though no one was injured.
The American embassy in Abuja stated, “We believe there were shots fired in the vicinity of the U.S. Embassy. The Nigerian authorities have two individuals in custody. We refer you to the Nigerian police for further information.”
Abuja police spokesman, Jimoh Moshood stated, “I have no information about any shooting in the area, nor any knowledge of any arrests”
