Reportedly, this is the picture of a protester that was killed by the Gun Shot of a Nigerian Police Officer in Ilorin, Kwara State, NigeriaReportedly, Over 300 Nigerian Police Officers were seen marching in Oregun and heading towards Alausa, Lagos State, Nigeria; the police officers were chanting anti-removal of fuel subsidy slogans and anti-government slogans.Reportedly, at a meeting held on tuesday by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) and Chief Executive Officers of telecommunication companies in Nigeria, MTN, Glo, Airtel and Etisalat agreed to shut down BlackBerry Services for two weeks because of the threat organizing peacefully among Nigerians pose to the Federal Government of Nigeria; BlackBerry Services on all networks is scheduled to be suspended on tuesday, January 4, 2011.
The vast majority of Nigerians are demanding that corruption be squarely tackled within the Nigerian Government before the removal of fuel subsidy. Furthermore, the vast majority of Nigerians are yearning for a more equal way to share the burden of the global economic crunch that is also affecting Nigeria; the vast majority of Nigerians desire for the Government of NIgeria to Cut the 1 million dollars annual salary/benefit of Senators in Nigeria so their salaries will be commensurate with the one of the President of one of the largest economies in the world, the United States of America, then they will be willing to negotiate with the Federal Government of Nigeria about the intricacies of the removal of fuel subsidy.     Weather they shut down BB service or they leave it, they MUST GO!!!! We are tired of Blood-sucking govt! I urge every Nigerian to protest against the anti-people govt. No Going back!!!
