Nigerian President, Jonathan, appear impotent as Bomb blasts rock Catholic Church and other locations

A bomb explosion occured at St. Theresa Catholic Church during a Christmas Mass in Madalla, Niger State, close to Nigeria’s capital, Abuja, Damaturu, Yobe State, and close to a Mountain of Fire and Miracles Church in Jos, Nigeria.
Nigeria’s National Emergency Management Agency said it does not have enough ambulances immediately on hand to help the wounded.
A coordinator with Nigeria’s National Emergency Management Agency, Slaku Luguard stated, “Rescue workers have recovered at least 25 bodies at St. Theresa Catholic church and officials are still tallying those wounded in various hospitals. We’re trying to calm the situation. There are some angry people around trying to cause problems. Angry people are gathering at the blast site, which is hampering rescue efforts as they refuse to allow workers inside.”
Spokesman of Jos State Government, Pam Ayuba stated, “A second explosion struck near a Mountain of Fire and Miracles Church in Jos, gunmen opened fire on police guarding the area, killing one police officer. Two other locally made explosives were found in a nearby building and disarmed. The military are here on ground and have taken control over the entire place”
After the bombings, a Boko Haram spokesman claimed responsibility for the attacks in an interview with The Daily Trust Newspaper.
Yobe State police commissioner, Tanko Lawan stated, “Two explosions had struck Damaturu, including a suicide car bombing. The blast happened around noon, targeting the headquarters of Nigeria’s secret police in the area. There was no immediate information about casualties.” What are you thinking?
