The Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Dahiru Musdapher, along with Justice Mahmud Mohammed, Justice Walter Onnoghen, Justice John Afolabi Fabiyi, Justice Olufunlola Adekeye, Justice Bode Rhodes-Vivour, and Justice Sylvester Ngwuta will chair a seven-member panel of justices to hear the appeal filed by the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), challlenging the legality of the Presidency of President Goodluck Jonathan; the Court will begin hearing cases on the 13th of December, 2011.
Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court, Sunday Olorundahunsi stated, “We have constituted a full panel to hear the Presidential Election Petition involving the Congress for Progressive Change, CPC”
It can be noted that the appeal filed is between the CPC as appellant, 39 Respondents, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), INEC chairman, Prof. Attahiru Jega, and President Goodluck Jonathan. What are you thinking?
What will be the out come of the appeal case? Your guess is as good as mine. I wonder why cpc are waisting their time. Pdp/GEJ are ready to spill their last blood to stick to power whether by hook or crook.
