An Election Tribunal located in Kebbi State ruled that the April 2011 Gubernatorial Election in Kebbi State that produced Malam Usman Sa’idu Nasamu Dakingari as the Governor of Kebbi State has been nullified. The Election Tribunal made this decision on the basis that the Independedent National Electoral Commission (INEC) did not supply the forms statutorily required for the Election.
The Election Tribunal ordered a new Election for the Office of Governor of Kebbi State in 90 Days.
It can be noted that Malam Dakingari is the son in law of late Nigeria President, Alhaji Umaru Musa Yar’Adua
