Nigeria Police Stop Protest with Dogs

The National Youth Council of Nigeria held a brief scheduled Peaceful Protest themed “Hunger Strike Day” in Unity Fountain, Abuja, Nigeria, around 10 am on Friday.
President, National Youth Council of Nigeria, Mr. Olawale James Ajani, briefly addressed fellow peaceful protesters on the premise behind “Hunger Strike Day”. Nigeria Police dispersed Dogs on the Peaceful protesters before Mr. Ajani could finish his address.
Nigerians were expressing their constitutional right to peacefully assemble earlier on Friday but they had to abruptly end their peaceful Protest because of the Dogs unleashed on them.
Mr. Ajani was arrested by Nigeria State Police (SSS) because of his role in the planning of the “Hunger Strike Day” Protest.
“Hunger Strike Day” was chosen to be the theme of a Protest organized by the National Youth Council of Nigeria in order to express their disapproval of the planned Fuel Subsidy removal.
The location where the “Hunger Strike Day” Protest was held, Unity Fountain, is close to Transcorp Hilton Hotel, a luxurious Hotel Located in Abuja, Nigeria. What are you thinking?
