Nigerian Police Boss receive Discipline

A Joint Committee on Justice, Human Rights, Police Affairs, and Media set up by the House of Representatives to investigate the embarrasing way Nigerian Police Officers arrested workers of the Nation Newspaper without due process around the 12th of October, 2011, encouraged the Inspector General of Police, Mr. Hafiz Ringim, to forward a written letter of apology to Mr. John Austin, legal counsel of the Nations Newspaper, for wrongfully arresting and detaining him. Also, the Committee members encouraged Mr. Hafiz Ringim to investigate whether the letter in question is fake or real. The arrest was a follow up to a controversial letter supposedly written by former President, Obasanjo to President Jonathan. What are you thinking?
