Nigerian Youths are planning to excercise their contitutional right to assemble; Nigerian Youths will be partcipating in a peaceful demonstration expressing their unequivocal repudiation of the implementation of fuel subsidy removal. A member of the group stated: “we are selfless, we are not rascals, we are raising money ourselves, attempts have been made to pay us off but we did not accept the money” Members of the group are determined not to be bought over by any Government Official or/and Individuals in an attempt to stop thier counstituional right to assemble peacefully. Nigerian youths generally believe the Nigerian Government will create more revenue by closing corruption loopholes in the Federal, State, and Local Governments instead of removing Fuel sunbsidies. Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA) estimate the price of petrol will go up from 65 Naira per litre to 138 Naira and 20 kobo per litre, if the Federal Government enforces plans to scrap fuel subsidies; this price increase will have a direct disproportionate effect on the already suffering Nigerian Youths. What are you thinking?
