Soldier killed in Jos

A Soldier, Sergeant Baba Wuya, serving with the Special Task Force in Jos, Operation Safe Haven, was ambushed, killed, and his weapon taken away by unidentified people at the Ali Kazaure area of Jos. Late Sergeant Baba Wuya was on his way to guard a trouble area in Jos, when he was murdered. The Task Force Spokesman, Captain Charles Ekeocha, released a statement, suggesting any individual or group of persons adamant on causing more trouble in Plateau State will be destroyed. The spokesman also encouraged citizens of Plateau State to continue their daily routine without fear, but the citizens of the State are having a hard time believing those words.
